School Meals

We are pleased to announce that from August 2024, we have changed our catering provider in conjunction with KCC; our new caterers are Caterlink.

Caterlink are education specialists having been registered in the education sector since 1999. They advocate a healthy eating approach. For more information about Caterlink please visit their website at https://caterlinkltd.co.uk.

ALL SCHOOL MEALS NEED TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE AND A MEAL CHOICE MADE ON Parent Pay.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MUST BE DONE BY 8AM. IF YOUR CHILD IS ABSENT FROM SCHOOL AND YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED A SCHOOL MEAL (PAID OR FREE), THIS WILL NEED TO BE CANCELLED BY 8AM ON THE DAY OF THE ABSENCE TO AVOID CHARGE.

Children in KS1 (Reception / Year 1 / Year 2):

School lunches are provided free for all of our KS1 children who would like them.  Please still use the Parent Pay website to book meals & make menu choices for each day.

Although school dinners are free for all children in KS1, you may still be able to claim an additional £1320 Pupil Premium funding for your child’s educational needs! Click here to find out if you are eligible.

Children in KS2 (Years 3,4,5,6):

The current price of meals is £3.15 per meal and must be paid in advance. Payment can only be made directly to our meal provider on Parent Pay.

Parents of children in KS2 may also be able to claim free school dinners for their child – and get an additional £1320 Pupil Premium funding for their child’s educational needs!

Free School Meals for KS2

Children entitled to free school meals will still need to book meals in advance and make menu choices on Parent Pay but no payment will be required.

For any queries regarding school meals, please contact Caterlink.

SCHOOL MENU FROM 4th NOVEMBER 2024

Packed Lunches

We ask that packed lunches promote the school’s ‘Healthy Schools’ status and that they therefore do not contain chocolate, sweet items or fizzy drinks.  At the present time we do have children with severe allergies to nuts or other food items so there are restrictions on some foods being brought into school due to this.  We are therefore a nut free school – please do not send in any nut-based products and ask for your cooperation in supporting the well-being of these children.
